I was requested by Vajrayana Guru Chokyi Gyetshen to record a blessing video for Taiwan Sakya Monastery. I’m extremely happy and honor to be able to do this. First of all, I want to offer my heartfelt congratulations for the completion of the new monastery, which as you said is the compassionate wish of the late, Most Venerable Khenchen Appey Rinpoche. Since there is a close association between Taiwan Sakya Monastery and the International Buddhist Academy, due to having the late Khenchen Appey Rinpoche as our teacher, I particularly feel a close affiliation with the Taiwan Sakya Monastery.
金剛上師 確吉蔣稱(龍德上師)，請我為臺灣薩迦寺錄製一個祝福視頻。我非常高興也非常榮幸，可以錄製這個視頻。首先，我要獻上我由衷的祝賀，祝福這座新寺廟的建成。正如您所說，這座寺廟是已故最尊貴的堪千 阿貝仁波切，生前慈悲的願望。因為臺灣薩迦寺與IBA國際佛學院之間有著緊密的關係，也由於已故的堪千 阿貝仁波切是我們的老師，所以我對臺灣薩迦寺特別感到親切。
The hardship and difficulties endured by you to achieve the milestone of completing the monastery demonstrates your profound dedication and compassion in realizing this magnificent outcome. The great Indian master Vasubandhu said the Noble Dharma of Buddha is twofold: scriptural teachings and realization. The upholding of these is comprised of only teaching them and practicing them in meditation. I have no doubt with your confidence, capabilities and resolute mind of propagating Dharma in general and Vajrayana in particular. These activities mentioned by master Vasubandhu will take place in this new monastery. In this way, you will also be fulfilling the noble wishes of Khenchen Appey Rinpoche.
您承擔了一切艱辛和困難，就為了達到完成這座寺廟的里程碑，展現了您深弘的奉獻以及慈悲心，才能有這麼宏偉的成果。印度偉大的大師，世親大師曾說過：「佛正法有二，以教證為體。」教證，必須透過佛法教授以及禪修，才能夠達到。我毫不懷疑您在弘法上的信心、能力以及決心，尤其是弘揚金剛密乘。世親大師所提到的這些行持，也將會在這座新的寺廟中落實，這樣，您也可以實踐堪千 阿貝仁波切的聖願。
In brief, I wish to offer my prayers and blessings to the Taiwan Sakya Monastery for it to bring great blessings and benefit to many beings. May the blessings of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas always be with you. Thank you.
